The early years:

Born in Augusta, Georgia, Angela D. Robinson Bell has lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania most of her life. She is the daughter of the late Ida Mae Nobles Robinson and Dennis Gillette. However, she was raised by her grandparents William and Mary Nobles with the assistance of her loving maternal aunts and her mom's husband, Willie Robinson, Sr. whom she is proud to call "Dad." She is the oldest of the six Robinson children and has three half siblings on the Gillette side.

The busy years:

Forty-one years ago, God brought Gregory Bell into Angela's life, and she has been blessed to be married to him for many happy years. They share four grown sons, two daughters-in-law and seven grandchildren.  During these years she worked for the School District of Philadelphia in the Special Education Department and retired after 25 years of service. After raising her children,  Angela became a minister in 2007, working for the cause of Christ by preaching the gospel and exercising her gift of intercession in the work of Gospel ministry. Angela returned to school to receive her Associates Degree and will graduate this May with a degree in Behavior Health and Human Services. She plans to use her degree to further her ministry.

Creative influences:

Angela was exposed to music, poetry and art from all sides of her family. As a child she used to doodle little poems on paper in the presence of her aunt, Betty J. Thompson Nobles who is a distinguished writer and author. Her artistic contributions to family gatherings was to recite original poems. This tradition and joy has continued through out the years. She has used her poetry to help her through hard times and to express the joy that she experiences. She has spoken her poetry at churches, funerals, weddings, parties, poetry readings, and on Gospel radio stations. She offers these poems as a prayer for your intentions.
